Leonardo da Vinci
Leonardo da Vinci (Italian: Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci) (April 15, 1452 - May 2, 1519) is a renowned Italian architect, inventor, engineer, sculptor and artist of the Renaissance era. He is said to be the pioneer of the Renaissance man and a comprehensive genius. Leonardo is famous for his paintings, the most famous of which are The Last Supper and Mona Lisa. He is also known for his many inventions, which were ahead of their time but left only on paper. It also contributes to the development of anatomy, astronomy and engineering.
